Default Lygodactylus Williams problems

Hello, i just registered to this forum simply due the lack of information about these fellas in my country (Finland).

I saw care sheets and such on this site and people who know their stuff.

Problem im facing currently are oversized "throat bags" on my other female compared to the other one, they are completely healthy outside a shedding failure on the male one, and now he has few pieces of loose skin, which ive decided to let be since they arent on bad spots.

I will probably take pictures later, but the guy who sold the geckos to me claimed that they are part of their behaviour, that the female infact was the leader of the pack, and thats why she devoloped these massive sacks.

Ive browsed tons of williamsii pictures on the internet, and couldnt find a single one with as large sacks as she has, theres a good possibility shes carrying aswell, could the unordinarely big sacks have something to do with it?

Also ive discovered mites recently which the old owner nicely gave to my house, could these have something to do with the sacks (just giving all possible information..) Giving them a treatment with Animed today when shops open.

Also considered maybe some food might be stuck somehow there, which sounds unrealistic but possibility aswell... (she had the sacks for 2 weeks now atleast)

As for how ive kept em:

Spraying terrarium twice a day keeping humidity jumping around 50-75%

Feeding nymph roaches, small crickets, and Callosobruchus maculatus beetles and few Alphitobius diasperinus worms. (sorry for the few scientific names cant get a proper translate to english)

Il appreciate all the information you can give under these circumstances, also interested how fatal can the loose skin on the male be, theres 2 small pieces, one on top of hes head and one on the body. Reason why shedding failed is probably that they we're on a car for a few hours when the seller brought em here,

Quick responds _extremely_ appreciated

The bumbs on the head of your female are calcium sacks.
I have a female with bigger sacks than the others, but they are nowhere as big as those on your female. So to me it looks a bit strange.

Are the sacks the same size on both sides?

Do you know how fast they appeared? I mean could they have grown slow and steady over a couple of months?

Yeah they are equally sized

Well the guy who sold em to me said they slowly started appearing

I also noticed the other ones are eager to eat calcium, so it might be the dominant female has just been stealing zeh calcium

It just looks a bit unhealthy aswell, she doesnt mind it and has kept eating tho

It took a while for me to notice the sacks as they we're pretty much hiding the first days they we're on my flat, and after that i was working by days for quite some time

Those calcium sacks are quite a bit larger than what I've seen with L. mombasicus in the past years (I no longer have any due to the changing family situation). If the female is still active, eating and doing all of the normal things they usually do, I wouldn't be too worried about it just yet. Deal with the mite problem accordingly and hopefully things'll start looking better soon.

Now ive taken care of the mites hopefully, even i ****ed upped the doze completely and it became too mild, but im still optimistic that it took care of the problem

If not my spray from Reptilica arrives this week, that should finish it
