Default Female aggressive towards male

Hi,

I bought a pair of l. willamsi a week ago. The female is very aggressive towards the male. She doesn't let him near her. The male doesn't seem to interested in mating either. The male will puff his throat out but the run away.
Do I have 2 males? Should I separate them?

The male is obviously the one stuck to the glass and the female is on the vine in the back.

Female
Default

Hi,

Judging by the fact the dominant one is green, I would say you have a pair. Usually when there is two males the dominant one would be blue and the second will be suppressed and look more green like a female than the vibrant blue of a male.

It could be possible your female is early on in pregnancy and this is why she is not letting the male near. This very same thing happened to me. Once eggs were laid she let him mate with her.

Since your geckos are new, do not worry about them mating for now.
