Default Weird Williamsi behaviour

Any ideas as to why my male Williamsi would be going to be at 4-5pm every day? He has been doing this for the last two weeks or so, nothing has changed in the tank etc in that time.

When his awake his behaviour is normal and hes eating fine just seems to be going to bed really early?

I would not worry unless he is a really old gecko (some people report odd behavior before death). But I am more thinking he has been caught out after the lights go out. Given enough times this could cause any gecko to seek retreat beforehand. Or it could well be due to bad weather, I am not sure how things have been in the UK, but here in Germany we have had lots of rain which causes it to get darker earlier and this has sent quite a few geckos to bed earlier as a result.

I have one female (a kimhowelli) which does this regularly however no matter what. An hour or two before lights out, she is tucked down in to her favorite bromeliad. The other female that does this is a P. klemmeri, but her bed of choice is a bamboo tube (how fitting for them). The female klemmeri on the other hand started this behavior after being caught out a few times.

Dart Frogs are also known for going to their choice sleep location before lights out.
