I've got about 7 eggs in one bit of bamboo in the main tank, i would like to relocate that bit of bamboo to the nursery tank but would mean having to saw it in too which would probably disturb the eggs too much? I don't like the thought or relying on just happening to spot the babies before mum or dad eat them! Any ideas?

Yeah the vibrations from the sawing could knock developing embryos free from their position causing them to drown.
What I usually do for my bamboo laying geckos where I cannot remove the bamboo is make a little plastic cover with some holes in it and then tape it to the top. I keep a chart of when eggs are laid, so I start checking some days before they are due to hatch for little ones. If the female is partial to that bamboo I will open it back up for her to lay in 4-5 days before she will normally lay eggs.
If I was not able to chart something, I will make a small plastic box over the bamboo, so I am able to see any young ones climbing up out of it in to the box.
