Tips for raising Cat Gecko
Hello there! I just recieved my Cat Gecko this morning and I absolutely adore him. As soon as I opened up the package I was amazed by how quickly he crawled on my arm, not to mention how slow moving they are. I've been preparing for his arrival, but I still wasn't prepared for the first time I saw it; just amazing. He's been hiding in his tank all day; I can't even locate him at the moment. I put out some calcium dusted mealies, but I imagine he is stressed right now and won't eat right away. The humidity is at 80% and the temperature is app. 75 degrees; I have a moonglo lamp I'm using right now, although I'm really not sure if it's neccesary. My terrarium is a 20 gallon arboreal suited terrarium. I have branches for climbing, 2 water dishes (one of which he actually slept in this afternoon, wierdly enough), and some fauna. I wanted to give as much info as I could before I asked for some tips? Ive read the caresheet available for this species, and I've taken it all to heart but I thought I would see if there is more I should know? Any help would be greatly appreciated and I hope my question isn't too broad or vague!
