Default Cyrtopodion kotschyi?

Today i found this small lizzard of about 5cm but wasnt sure what it was,
so i thought id take it home for an id and release it as soon as possible.
I know like to think this is an Cyrtopodion kotschyi aka kotschyi's gecko.
If so this means this is an endemic species to Cyprus (didnt know about that)
Can anyone confirm?
Also, since i brought it home i probably disturbed its hybernation so would releasing it now be of any danger to it? I own tarantullas and scorpions also 2 cresties so i have the ability to support the animal untill it gets a bit warmer, what do you suggest?
Here are some pics...

Definately kotschi.I found them about twenty years ago around Coral Bay and Paphos.I would guess that the nights are still quite cold but the days are warming up.When I found them they were always in rocky areas underneath boulders.

In Cyprus there is only two species of geckos :
- Cyrtopodion kotschyi
- Hemidactylus turcicus

Your look like Cyrtopodion kotschyi without doubt !
