Thanks for the tips. So far I only witnessed the mating that night, which lasted for many hours.
However these guys are AMAZING to watch!!!! They are near my bed so at night I've been leaving a low night light on so I could watch them. They have LOTS of communication between the two.
The male will approach the female. When he gets close enough, he calls to her and while calling his tail moves back and forth..only moves as he calls almost to the "beat". She mostly pushes him away by wagging her tail back and forth like a cat and he simply walks away. He tries to approach her about two or three times per night that I see. I am sure it's more. She doesn't seem to have any problems telling him to back off without things getting "violent"
Both are eating well still so I am excited at the possibility of healthy CB babies coming my way soon.
