Default Captive Bred Flying Geckos

Hello all,

I have never posted here before, I've had geckos for three years now, I breed Crested Geckos and have a Gargoyle Gecko.
My Boyfriend and I had gone to a reptile show in June. He had found a wild caught Flying Gecko that he really loved. Sadly though, It died tonight. I'm not sure why exactly I know it was not because of it being miss treated in any way but most likely because it was wild caught and something was wrong with it before he had it. I feel so bad about it. I would like to replace it with a Captive Bred one preferably a baby, but I just can't seem to find anyone who sells CB ones. If you know of anyone who does, or if you yourself breed them please let me know because I really would like to get one.

Hi ~

Welcome to GU ! You have discovered the best gecko forum on the worldwide web .

Very sorry to hear of the death of your WC flyer. When you got him did you check him over thoroughly for bright reddish orange mites which can be totally removed easily? Sometimes WC animals get really dehydrated in the import process. They can sustain damage from dehydration that it difficult to fix.

Welcome to GU. Sorry to hear about your loss. Wild caught geckos can often be tricky to acclimate. If you're looking for a new gecko, please post a "wanted" ad in the classifieds. We don't allow those types of posts in the general forums.
Thanks,
Ethan
