Tarentola Gecko research
Hi
Would anyone be willing to assist me in a piece of research on Gecko behaviour? I am looking to study the activities and behaviour patterns of, specifically, Tarentola geckos, but would be interested in accounts from anyone who keeps ‘true’ geckos (as in, not Eublepharis etc.). At this stage, I’m just looking for interest, and want to find a few serious keepers/herpers willing to assist me. This could be through the careful observation of their captive specimens, field observations of wild populations, or the supply of animals for breeding/study colonies. Note to US friends; If any of you have access to the naturalised populations in the USA, I would be particulalry keen. Likewise keepers/observers of The Cape Verde giant gecko (Tarentola gigas).
Thanks for reading this, and by all mean PM me if you want to help. I’d be aiming for academic publication 2011/2012 after the data is in, so let me know. There may be the opportunity for co-authorship.Thanks
