Default Lepidodactylus lugubris hatchlings!

I recently decided to redo some tanks in my house and one for my lugubris was on my priority list. A few days ago I removed the adults and while doing so I found a mass load of eggs in a fern root trunk. I also discovered one of my females is gravid.

Long story shorter. I did not get to work on the tank further after the weekend so I left everything as is inside. Last night I got a hunch to check in the tank with a flashlight and I found two hatchlings!

Pics to come later today once I get the little ladies sorted in a tank.

*EDIT - I couldn't wait until I got them sorted....pics uploaded

Thanks Elizabeth!

So far they are doing really well and eating like little pigs. They chirp up a storm to me over the day.

You are very welcome, Maureen. Great form of gecko-to-gecko-to-human communication .
