Default kuhli died what happend

I got my flyer on DEC 17 at the reptile show in Columbus Ohio for twelve dollars . He had mites so I assumed he was wild caught. I kept him in a quarantine tank while I set up his 20 tall and while I got ride of mites i used the olive oil method. he was eating and pooping normal. I sent a fecal in Monday he came back clean
i finished planting his tank on Tuesday with Azolla lucky bamboo satin Pothos and lance leaf i used miracle grow organic potting soil mixed with coco fiber and plantation soil i moved him to his tank on Wednesday temp and and humidity right and he died he was dead this morning what did i do wrong? sorry about bad pic only got a cell phone.

Without a necropsy you will never know. There are so many possibilities. Sorry for your loss

looking at that possibility but it doesn't kill my fish when I use it in there tank. has any one ever used it successfully

I use the organic miracle grow potting soil in my planted tanks without issue.

Sorry for your loss
If it was WC, then you will probably never know the cause. Was it an adult or juvie, if adult then it could have been natural causes associated with age...WC live a much harder life & even if strong/healthy it won't live as long as a CB gecko can.

it was an adult thank you that makes me feel a little better about my soil choice

Yes the soil is fine I use it in my terrariums as well. Uhm $12 / Adult no offense but they probably knew it was going to die? how was the heat? what did he eat? re-check the soil bag to see if possibly you got a different organic soil ( there are different ones ) sorry about your loss. Maybe he/she had MBD? ( Metabolic Bone Disease )

Ah I'm sorry for your loss. That's always hard. To many what if questions. I doubt it was your soil choice. I've used it before with zero issues. Plus the flyers don't really mess
With the soil. I would think stress or natural causes.
