I read that a sign of this ( ^ ) is stool smeared around vent area? My bearded dragon has a bit of that goin on and wasn't sure if that or he just sat in it (by time I get home to clean it every once in awhile it'll be smeared on the substrate a bit).

He shows none of the other signs of the disease (stools are solid, eating fine, good weight, . Was just wondering about this. It also appears to be peelin' off a bit like shed skin, this doesn't seem to be a characteristic of the disease either.

Again, was just wondering. Panicky guy here lol

I would suggest asking on a bearded dragon forum, not a gecko forum. Probably going to get a better response.

I'd give him a bath and take it off his skin

sometimes they seem to feel the need to "paint". unless it's a lot, or it continues to happen, I wouldn't worry about it since he doesn't show any other signs of a problem.

Sorry about that, I posted it here cuz I was tight with time and already logged on here. And since it was more focused around the disease than the reptile.

Thanks for the quick response though, i'll try that and post on beardie website to see what they think.
