I heard that the pictus females could die of eggbinding and this is a serious problem. Is it true? Because i would really love to get some pictus but at the pet shop the breeder said that all of the females die due to this. I check the internet source but it doesn't look so bad as he said. (Only the male has to be separeted after a few egg laying.) He said that you have to breed fast to get more and more to substitute the the early dying females. I don't think this is the truth but need long time pictus keepers' experience on this topic.

Anyone? Many people keeps pictus here even breed them. How often happens die from eggbinding or this is not an issue? Could this happen if there is no male and then she just laying and laying?
