As far as i'm aware the snows are just a line bred trait. I would consider that a "snow" I dunno if we need to change the term to hypo's or what. I've been trying to figure out all these names with little results

This is a One lined Picta. Panther Morphs can be up to Three lined. A snow is all white colored with the patterns of a normal. Can be morphed with lines as well and those are even rarer. There are also white marble and Xanthic Morphs being the most expensive.
See this link for info and pictorial.

Hi reptirus ~

Very sorry to read that on 4/5/10 you lost your reptile collection to a fire. Fires are always devastating. With live critters as victims, even more so. Do you know what caused the fire?

An electrical fire caused it. The fire fighters and insurance company both pointed to a black PVC rack as the firestarter. No clue how it actually started though considering it was heated by flexwatt, and flexwatt only gets up to 130-140 even if the thermostat would fail, which is no where near hot enough to start a fire. I thank god that we were home when it started, because it was in the basement we didnt realize it until the reptile room was already destroyed, but were able to get out and call the fire company and they were able to save the upstairs, except for all of the smoke damage that came up threw the duct work.

Very sorry to read about the potential cause of your fire. Thanks for posting. Glad that you were home. Could there have been some random electrical arcing somewhere??

reptirus ~

I'm not sure how arcing works either. Just know I was once looking at a house whose wires leading into the breaker box were totally incompatible with the breaker box itself. Was told that there could be arcing at any time between that breaker box and the meter box on the outside of the house and that a catastrophic fire would result. Not much help. Try Googling it?
