Do P. Pictus need lower temperatures to stop laying
I currently have a male P. Pictus with me on a breeding loan from a friend. He just finished his quarantine, but I was planning on trying to send him back to his owner at a show next month. Will the female continue to lay eggs as longs as the temperatures are high enough for them, or do they stop once a male is separated from them?
If the female can hold sperm once they're separated, how long does that go on for? I only plan on having roughly 3 clutches, or less. I guess it depends on how the female looks for it, been preparing her for it for quite a while now and I don't want anything to happen to her.
