beautiful little geckos. you must be proud. quick question for you: how many crickets do they eat for you? my 1 month old is only eating 2-3 pin heads a night. seems to be doing well, so i wondered what was normal.

also, have you noticed a tendency to climb to the top of things? nothing i read indicated that they were big climbers. i have a fairly tall and coarse rock in there for him and he loves to lay up on top of it or just stand up there. i would almost suspect that he was trying to stay warm (the heat source is right above there) except for the fact that the temps in his tank are a fairly constant 82-83F on the warm side and 75-78F on the cool side. regardless, these guys have very fun personalities. good luck with your babies.

they are about 10 cm/4 inch long now. And are still a bit shocked by this adventure, but I have carefully moved them into the humid shelter, I think they like it.
The female "kiki" has taken 3 Mealworms from de Pincet from me. The male "raptor" has no interest yet. Tonight I am going to make my daughter get some crickets out of their bucket in the (schuur) litle barn.We cool them (the crickets) a Bit and will try to make them hunt/eat a bit more.

yes , the same here, they clime on the backwall. For water I have bought a bird water feeder , the one you put in with canaries. One of them made it on top of it en later fell of.But they do climb. If They are really adjusted and eat nicely we will put in some branches to climb on. I dont know yet if they hunt untill they have got all cricks. Dont want to leave cricks around if possible.
Also going to get them Calciworms tomorrow. (Sorry for bad spelling, hope you inderstand what I am writing)
