Have to give up my Garg :(
I posted a while back about my garg and got a lot of helpful advice. I'm hoping to find help again!
For financial reasons i'm living with my parents, who were not too happy when i brought my 2 cats with me 2 years ago, and now i have a gecko i took in... which i have successfully hid from my father for 3 weeks now. But my luck will run out eventually and his patience with my living here is wearing thin. No one i know will take her, and i've even resorted to using craigslist but no bites yet.
Does anyone know if there is a reptile rescue near Green Bay WI? Closest one i found was in Milwaukee and i don't have the time to drive down there and back. Or maybe you or someone you know around here might want to take her in? No money involved, just want to make sure someone can take care of her.

If the others fall through I'd be interested, I'd pay for shipping unless (doubtful) you'd want to meet somewhere halfway lol.

Yeah, the drive is a bit of an obstacle for me too, as it'd be 8 hours round trip. I'm definitely interested though.
@Dorkasaurus: As I just said, I'm interested, but if FTSOR and Jpstodwftexas aren't able to take it, and I can't convince the girlfriend to let me take it in, the eastern wisconsin herp society might be an option, though they're halfway to milwaukee from you.

She's a female. I've had her for almost 3 years (bought her in winter of 08-09) and i got her from petco. Not sure what age they sell them at there. How does one go about shipping a gecko (UPS, FedEx, other)? Any idea about how much it costs? If it was someone nearby i'd give them everything i have for her. Tank, decor, food, etc. Obviously if i shipped her it would be much more difficult to include some of that stuff
Thanks again!

All Pro Shipping - Ship Your Packages. Professionally. is what many hobbyists use. They sell shipping supplies and also have some good how-to tutorials on their website. Whoever adopts or buys a reptile is typically responsible for paying shipping costs. You can enter the zip code of the person getting the animal and your own zip code to get a shipping quote. Generally overnight shipping (which is what you need to use) runs $45-80 for gecko-sized boxes, depending on locations and size and weight of a package.

$45-80? yikes!
Might actually be better off driving her to a herp rescue. I have a small car
Thanks everyone for the advice. Think i'll check out the herp rescue someone suggested and go from there. Will let you know if it doesn't pan out
