Default I get so attached!

So I help a friend of mine who runs a small animal rescue from her house. She mostly works with exotics that need to find new homes. I've been fostering a Sudan Plated Lizard for sometime from her and I've been trying to find him a permanent home. Well I've found his forever home and he's leaving this Thursday.
I'm really sad to see him go! I've grown attached to this big scaly lug and I wish he could stay. But I don't have the room for him since I'm getting four more geckos in the near future. The good part about him leaving though is that he's going to my good friend who lives right down the street. So I'll be able to visit him when I want! She recently lost her green iguana and when she saw Mr. Mister she fell in love. I'm glad that he'll be able to fill a little of the hole that her iguana left in her heart. To me reptiles are like any other pet and it can be just as devastating when we loose one. So here's my formal good bye to my big guy!
Love you Mr. Mister! Enjoy your forever home! I'll be seeing you soon!

Such a handsome boy! I love happy foster stories, especially when your close friends with their new owners.

Yeah, I'm really glad I'll be able to see him again! He's such a cutie and had such a hard life up until he came to stay with me!
I think I need to stop though.... I'm taking in another leopard gecko from my reptile vet's tech. Then I'm getting my two gargy girls and the N. levis levis is getting shipped to me as soon as weather warms. I think I've hit my limit. If I don't stop here, my husband may kill me soon. He says he doesn't care because he doesn't like the reptiles and I take care of them, but I saw him talking to Yoshi the other day.... I think he likes them but just wants to be a butthead about it!

That sweet that he talks to Yoshi, who could resist Yoshi...
I think this summer will be my breaking point, with all the youngsters I hope to hatch out. I had decided not to breed Cassie this year (yr girl's momma), but she keeps looking at me wanting to know when she will get hooked up with her mate.....those sweet garg eyes are pressuring me into it, but trying to resist the urge to make her happy. I think geckos can get into your head more so than dogs or cats can.
