Default Tigers from Zimbabwe

Finally I got my new gems home!

It's a group of 3.1.1 Pachydactylus tigrinus from Zimbabwe. The hatchling is supposed to be a female but it's too small to really tell so I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

Here's one of the males.

Wow, Kexx!!! They look awesome!!! Love to see more pics off them, soon!!
So they are WC, right?? Just for my curousity; Is that because there are hardly any CB animals available, or to bring new blood in a breeding line??
Anyhow; they look absolutely stunning!
Kind regards,

Cindy

Actually they are CB from a guy in Denmark. I hope to get some nice off spring from them and I bet you want some then!

The best thing with these guys are that they are small and easy to keep in small terrariums. I use Exo Terras 30x30x30 to house one pair. As with a good things there is a catch to it, and the catch here is that the Tigers are nocturnal. It's very rare to see them out when it's light.

Usually I sneak up to the cage about an hour after I turn out the lights to check them out.

If you get any offspring, I definatelly want some!! Are you going to Hamm, September this year? Ha, ha, ha; they probably don't have any offspring by then, but who knows...right?!
Here in Holland you hardly see any Pachydactylus and Chondrodactylus species. That pretty sucks, cause I think their really beautifull
Good luck with your new familymembers,
Greetings,

Cindy

I havn't decided yet if I'm going or not... My collection of snakes and lizards is pretty big at the moment with additional eggs in the incubator and several females gravid. I think I need to ship out some animals first before I get more.

Knowing myself, and that I do, I would only buy more unplanned animals at the fair. I'm also rearranging my snake room so everything is a mess right now. What about you? Are you going?

I really would like to go this year, but I'm afraid I just end up with more animals, just like you!!
I recently lost my job, so it's not a smart thing for me to purchase more animals, cause they all need care (housing, food, supplements, heating, health check-ups, etc)
But I'll bet you agree with me, that if you go to Hamm, you simply cannot leave the show with new animals!
So, unless I find a new job quickly, I probably won't go
Greetz,

Cindy
