Default Sand for Chondrodactylus angulifer ?

Hi

I'm particularly interested in the opinion of experienced owners, but everyone is more than welcomed.

I want to use sand (of course) to house a Chondrodactylus angulifer. Want kind of sand do you use or recommend? I've seen the posts here and I've look for information everywhere, so what I'm looking for is a little more than a mere vague answer.

I may get Namibian Desert sand, but I don't know if it has a really advantage over others. They advertise them as being good to do burrows...

Can anyone give me their experiences and/or good references to see?

Hi,
I use red sand from Lucky Reptile.
But you can use playsand as well or any other not too fine sand.

Best,

Sebastian

Thanks Sebastian. I guess I will go for the red sand as well.

Play sand mixed with river sand works quite well for me. Wet it then let it dry out so that they can dig tunnels as they please, just not to deep that a collapsed tunnel can crush or suffocate them.
