Default dropped tail regeneration time

Hello All!

Firstly, merry xmas for all gecko fun.

Today i moved a few of my turneri geckos and i grabbed one of them the wrong way so a caught her tail. You can imagine the aftermath so now one of my gecko is tailless. (i guess at tree dweller geckos the best way to catch them the small towel.) The male gecko was at her side all the time today afternoon. It looked like he protected her from any threat and licked her. I have never seen such thing. Does anybody know how long time needs for tail regeneration? Besides this gekco once lost her tail before i got her. Her tail looked like a carrot before the dropping. As far as i know geckos keep fat in their tail. Now she lost it before breeding season. Could this be a problem at egg laying?
