Exclamation Strange behaviour in C.angulifer

Hi, I'm new in this forum, so I hope I am writting in the correct section...
I have a juvenile male cb C.angulifer angulifer which in the last 2 weeks has bearly eaten anything, he's lost 4grams, currently weighing 18gr.
I thought at the beggining that maybe it was of excess heat, I have him in my reptile room which is around 28ºC with a heating mat which makes the temp rise up to 32ºC. The problem is that the terrarium he is in, is designed for a tarantula so its long but no too wide, so the heating mat is nearly on half of the terrarium, not allowing for a proper heat-cold gradient. I have changed this so it doesn't occupy more than a 1/3 and have put in a bigger water dish so he can bathe if he wants to hidrate.
Another thought that came to mind was lack of vitamins or a Ca deficiency, but I have supplemented his roaches every other day and has always had Ca carbonate in a small dish at his disposition.
Should there be UV or should i add it now just in case its a problem of lack of vitD3?
Also another question...do C.angulifer accumulate Ca inside their mouths like rhacos? Because I opened his mouth to check the oral mucosa and I saw 2 little sacs, similar to those of a rhaco.
As you can suerly tell I am a bit paranoid with this, so any help is welcome!

Personally i never use heat mats for these geckos as they burrow and hide in the sand during the day in natural habitat to escape the heat by having a underfloor heat source they can not do these. In addition i keep all my animals on a day night cycle.

Try crickets if you can get ALL my geckos go crazy for the crickets rather then the roaches.
