Default C. Turneri diet?

Hey guys!

I'm new to the forum and absolutely love it! Just a quick question though, what do you guys keep you Turner's on?

My staple is crickets but I do give them mealworms as well (my turners absolutely love mealworms). As treats I try to give them roaches and whatever I find that I know is safe, but where I live really don't have constant supplies of feeders except for mealworms, crickets and superworms.

What are the staple for your turners? And also how much do you guys feed and how often? I only feed every 2nd or so day as I don't want them to become obese.

Any input would be appreciated!

Regards

Arno

Welcome to the forum fellow Suid Afrikan

Crickets and roaches are good as well as the roaches, they will get overweight from too many meal worms so those for a stable should be avoided.
I keep all of my larger gecko species on Play Pen sand, ( you can get that from Toys R Us it's cheap about R40 for a 20kg bag!)

What you should do is see what works for you and how they progress, every 2-3 days is works well for my C.bibronii and they are doing well.

Feel free to share some photo's of your geckos!
