Default P. rangei eggs

Hi there.
I have a couple of P.rangei. My female was gravid after a winter pause, but laid the eggs not on top of the sand as she did with her only clutch of eggs last year, but in one of the caves they dug.
What do I do now?
If I dig up the sand in search of the eggs, I may break them, fragile as thea are.
If I incubate them with the adults, it's very probable that the babies will get eaten by the parents the moment they hatch.
And I don't have another terrarium to move the adult geckos.

Any suggestions?

Berit

re salut Berit,

you need to remove them carefully (a paintbrush and then a little spoon may help if you are afraid to break them), because rangei often dig a new cave each night and will probably damage the eggs

I don't think the adults would eat the babies, but I never tested it..

when I was breeding them, I used to separate the gravid female in a small heated boxe with a thinner layer of sand, a day or two before laying
it is easy to see when a female is about to lay, and with this method it is also much easy to find and get the eggs

I used to incubate the eggs on dry sand in slightly ventiled boxes, the materials were put in "bain-marie" incubator (28-30°C - 80-100% HR)
