I use to use 23w cfl bulbs but I currently use Jungle dawn LEDs. They help with plant growth and the cyclenof my vivarium.

Oh! the Jungle dawn bulbs look amazing! Very pricy but most likely worth it. I'm definitely gonna buy one of those!
What about the socket? Does it come with it?

You can buy the hood and bulbs together and you get a deal versus buying everything separately. I would shoot mike and Jess (owners of the company) and talk to them. They have their own brand of those bulbs coming out soon (cheaper than the jungle) and find out when they are available and tell them what size your tank is so you get the appropriate sized ones.

Oh, thank you. That would really help me out price wise. I will message them right now!

Since its getting colder where I live, I have a led bulb and a 23w cfl in each hood. The cfl is to add a little bit of heat.
