Hi everyone, I just bought my leopard gecko this last week. I've read a lot about the basic things to know and do. If someone could just fill me in on everything I should know, just to make sure I'm doing it all right. I do have one question, how hot should his tank be and what kind of bulb? It's usually about 70 in my house and I have a 75 wat black light in his cage but I don't think it's warm enough for him. I love my little buddy and I want to know I'm doing everything the best for him. Thank you!

hello!! I just got my Leopard gecko about 2 weeks ago and i think i just figured out that she is a Mack Snow patternless which i think is pretty cool. I am new at this so please take this with a grain of salt, however if i can help I love to do so. I have been doing nothing but research for about a month or so and have found that most breeders ive spoken too have all said that inside the tank should be between 86F and 92F, mine is between 80 and 90 because i have a yucky lamp however did just order something better. She doesnt seem to mind, she is still very active, eats great and is starting to shed. Again just because ive been researching does not necessarily mean i am correct, although i did get my info from mostly breeders.
