Maple is a little over 6 months old. She weighs in at 50 grams and is a little over 8 inches long. Her mate is 30 grams and 6 inches and he is the same age.

(Don't worry they are in a 50 gallon enclosure and have grown up together.) 20171214_161546.jpg

Growing up togther is irrelevant. When male reaches a certain age, he's got one thing naturaly built in his mind. To mate over and over with femal. Dought he sets back to think if she's stressed, or any other condition. Housing them separately is in best interests of geckos, expecially your female.
The scale reads 190, from what I see. Your reply says 50 grames. By any chance your female is knot female?

I have owned Leo's before. It says 190 because I didn't zero out the scale after putting the container on it. My female is 100% a female and my male is 100% a male. He has tried to mate with her but she puts him in his place and then they lay with each other. They lay with each other often. If I thought either of them were stressed I would take the appropriate action.
