    New at the pet shop

Here are some photos I took of some of the new lizards at the pet shop where I work. I am not sure on some of the names so if you see a problem correct it for me please. In order they are: 1) Sceloporus variabilis 2) Anolis coelestinus 3) A. coelestinus 4) Cnemidophorus/Aspidocelis sp.??

    Firebrats

I am searching for firebrat cultures. Does anyone know where to find these and have good info on how to keep them going?

    Discouraging comments!

I was recently a vendor at a local show where I was selling some of my own captive offspring that I produced. The show has a lot of vendors that seem to specialize in morphs of Ball pythons and Gaboon vipers (and the like). I breed geckos exclusively and thus my table was filled with only...

    Thinking of getting into Paroedura

I have a lot of Phelsuma and I am thinking of trying out some nocturnal geckos. I want something that will be active and attractive and I am drawn to P. masobe. About how much do they typically cost? How active are they and what major husbandry differences do they have with Phelsuma?

    Anolis allisoni

The pet shop I work at just got in some Anolis carolinensis and some anolis sagrei. They came in together. I was looking through the individuals when I found an anole with the body shape of a green anole but with interesting markings. It was brown like a green anole but it had darker brown...

    G. occelatus egg!

I got myself a pair of G. occelatus in November and today I discovered an egg in a plants pot in their enclosure! I am so excited about this! This is my first egg from any Gonatodes species. I have it in an incubator at 82 degrees right now. Nice stuff. Hopefully it hatches.

    Lygodactylus sp.

I have recently come across a deal and would like your opinion as to whether I should take it. A local pet store received some imported Lygodactylus. They have Lygodactylus kimhowelli and I think also Lygodactylus picturatus. They are 19 dollars each and I would probably pick up a pair of each...

    Major BUMMER

So I applied for a job at the National Aquarium in Baltimore (my dream job as a herpetologist in the Australia exhibit) and they shot me down because of a lack of experience keeping "Dangerous reptiles". I am so distraught! I was praying for this job! I am not sure if I will end up purchasing...

    P. klemmeri egg.

Well my young female laid her first egg on the first of November. A single egg clutch and I am excited to be incubating it. I have it at 84 degrees to produce a male hopefully. It is a shame because I already have two geckos from this bloodline in my group so I will have to get rid of this one...

    Juvenile Phelsuma klemmeri photos

My room mate has a great camera and he was nice enough to snap a few pics of my new Phelsuma klemmeri! I traded a Pancake tortoise for some klem babies and they seem to be thriving! Can't wait to add them to my breeding groups!

    Gonatodes question

I haven't witnessed my G. vittatus male eating yet and I just discovered he has lost about a quarter of his tail! He doesn't seem to be losing weight but he is really small. I notice the fruit flies/ crickets don't seem to be in the enclosure anymore but there are vent holes that they may be...
