  • Hi Maureen! I'm hoping you can help me...

I have had several L. Williamsi eggs hatch and I can never get the babies to live longer than 2 weeks! I keep them in well-ventilated 32oz containers with a fake plant, food, and water. I've even tried offering fruit flies and it just doesn't seem like they're eating. What am I doing wrong?
dumb question: in male williamsi, when does the blue begin to show? 6 months or so? I am now a proud foster-parent of 6 baby williamsi, but I am terrible at sexing them this small. :) the oldest are about 2 1/2 months, 2 hatched today, 4 more eggs waiting, and momma is gravid again. yeesh. they are prolific!
