This little guy hatched today.
It comes from a hypo snow het albino male and tremper sunglow female.
It looks a lot paler than my other albino that hatched from this pairing, so is this one a snow albino?
Here is the little blob i found today when opening up the incubator for some air.
Her mum was a mack snow stripe and her dad a *very* orange tremper sunglow.
I know she is a snow, but does anybody have any suggestions for hets?
I love giving my leos massively long morph titles lol
Cyndi is housed all by her self and has never been with a male.
I'm not sure exactly how old she is but i know she isnt quite full grown
She weighs 23g and eats like a horse!
She has really plumped up these past couple of days
So, to the real question
I know they can lay infertile eggs...
Giving Margot a quick 'cuddle' today i noticed she had a couple of lumps on top of her head.
She doesnt seem bothered in the slightest when they are touched, she is acting normally, and more than anything they seem like air bubbles...
Does anyone have any thoughs on what they are?
(You cant...
I've just rescued a little baby crestie from a place where he was being kept in a tank literally crawling with mealworm beetles.
I couldnt see any sign of CGD or even calcium powder.
The poor little Frog-butt here shakes his head and legs ever so slightly when he walks and his lips are a little...
I'm sure the animals dont care either way, but i like to give them treats every now and then. My leopard geckos get waxworms, but my cresties and garg wont even look at them.
They get CDG and crickets as their main diet, but just as a treat is baby food alright?
The one i was looking at is...
can i please see pictures of your gargoyle gecko setups?
right now my little Pickles lives in a small faunarium, so i'd like ideas for when she gets bigger
Thanks!
These are my first leos i've managed to hatch
Now they are are two days old and seem to be doing well.
They are both from a patternless albino female and a hypo baldy male.
...i thought normal hatchlings were yellow though?
one of mines looks white even now a couple of days on
#1...
my baby picta *somehow* managed to get out of her (seemingly secure) top opening tank, down from a desk where her tank was, and all the way down the stairs - avoiding a terrier and six people and their shoes for three days!
the only reptile vet in my town is away until tomorrow afternoon...
this is my new 10 month old female, Duchamp
she was sold as a raptor (for £75)
i think she is absolutely beautiful, but i'm not great on morphs...
is she a raptor?
OH! and sorry if its a stupid question, but can leos still see properly with snake/solid eyes?
(one snake eye, the other is dark red)
This is my new lovely, Cyndi
i'm no good with morphs... does anyone know what 'she' could be?
and Margot too - i think 'she' is a buckskin?
thanks!
Is there a certain age that home bred leopard geckos should reach before they go out to new homes?
obviously right out of the egg isnt a good idea - i know to hold on to them and make sure everyone is behaving, pooping, shedding and eating fine, but can they be 'too young' to be sold?
sorry...
I caught my big female (Seth) doing this this morning...
They looked more pinkish than the ones she layed last year that didnt work out...
fingers crossed i'll get my first babies this year then!
The only leopard gecko left in the shop, i just couldnt resist :)
i figure nobody wanted it because of its regen tail...
Little thing shed the moment i got home - i named it Ludo
Its still a baby, but i'm thinking maybe a super hypo?
Hey everyone
I think i'm having some trouble with my baby crestie...
I've never had one this small so i'm a little confused
I'm not sure if she is eating you see - in about a week i've seen 2 poops from her. I offer her food every day, and the tank is at about 76F and she has plenty of places...
