    Gravid N. asper

The first of my female N. asper is gravid and looks about ready to pop! She has just started excavating in the nesting box the last couple of nights. I'm keeping a close eye on her (and the other two females). The photos don't really do justice as to how round she is really looking. Tim

    Strophurus ciliaris ciliaris

Thought I might post some updated pics of a couple of my S. ciliaris ciliaris. They have filled out nicely over the course of the year and I've ended up with an even sex ratio. Hopefully they will produce some eggs over the course of this breeding season. Tim

    D. galeatus hatchlings

After some humidity associated problems with my first clutch I found these two from my second clutch in the incubator two weeks back. Incubation duration was 58 and 59 days at 27 degrees Celcius. These little guys were impossibly small at hatching but have been feeding voraciously on pin head...

    Cyrtodactylus louisiadensis hatchling

Well after 143 days in the incubator I found this little guy this morning. The first gecko that I have bred (after starting in the hobby last year) so more than a little excited. Hopefully I will have similar success with the remaining eggs in the incubator. Tim

New D. galeatus and S. ciliaris hatchlings

I've recently added 4 Diplodactylus galeatus and 2 Strophurus ciliaris ciliaris hatclings to the collection. Only picked up the D. galeatus yesterday but they are the most exquisite little geckos. I've attached a few pictures for those who might be interested. Tim

    Nephrurus asper breeding age

At what age are N. asper (or other rough knob tails) able to breed and at what age would people recommend that they are first bred? There seems to be conflicting information out there with some people say thay take 2-3 years to mature and others claiming that pairs just over 12 months have bred...

    Cyrtodactylus pre-lay shed

One of my adult female C. louisiadensis has laid several clutches so far this season. Each time she has shed 4-5 days prior to laying the clutch. Is this coincedence or do pre-lay sheds occur in this genus (and other geckos for that matter)? I assume that they eat the shed as I have never found...

    Nephrurus asper pics

I've just moved my young N. asper, acquired earlier this year, into larger enclosures a few days ago. I thought these pictures may be of interest to some.

New N. asper and C. louisiadensis

Over the last few months I have acquired a pair of 3 month old Nephrurus asper and one adult male, 2 adult female and 1 juvenile Cyrtodactylus louisadensis. Thought I would share some pictures of the new additions. Tim
