    Naultinus stellatus "Sandy Bay"

    This is an adult female "Sandy Bay" Naultinus stellatus this variety of South Island Green Gecko have very muted markings to say the "Nelson Lakes" variety. Kind of similar in markings to N. elegans but the scales are much more enlarged than the North Island species of Naultinus ;-)

    Wellington Green Gecko Naultinus punctatus

    This species is really interactive, they "bark" & gape. Probably NZ's most agressive gecko. I encountered this specimen & loved the way she played up for the camera!
