It's not a non-toxic plant, but these geckos never eat leaves. I've used Schefflera in the past with species that never nibble on it, and there have been no problems. No worries, it only causes tummy-aches if you eat it. I chose it due to its smooth, fairly broad leaves, and extremely quick-growing habit.
This is Schefflera arbicola, the common houseplant found in most garden centers. The risk that the lightweight geckos will bruise the leaves is low. The plant isn't deadly, but merely unpleasant, if it should happen somehow accidently.
I would never put such a plant in with any reptile that is heavy, or that might nibble on its leaves. As a simple platform for climbing, though, it's safe enough.
