  • Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on this forum for months...
    G. vittatus seems to be fairly easy to breed. I keep them in cages of 60x30x30 cm for a pair. Lighting by TL and UV bulb. Temperature around 25 degrees, slightly higher near the light bulb, lowering to about 20 degrees Celcius at night normally (it's summer here now, so slightly higher at the moment). I mist every night sometimes every other night. They eat everything what's small enough, mainly crickets, but also small ****roaches, fruitflies, small worms and other invertebrates. In the beginning I tried to collect the eggs, but due to the decoration (natural cork bark on the walls, roots and plants in the cage) they're hard to find, so now I collect juveniles when I see them walking around. Care of juveniles is the same as for adults, only slightly more humid, and prey size adjusted to gecko size off course. Any further questions?
    Cheers,
    Jeroen

PS, nice photo in your avator, colourful ocellatus?
