This is our new Sunglow male, we haven't even decided a name for him, yet! He is going to be combined with a normal het Tremper/tangerine to make some nice hypos and tangerine Tremper albinos. Our breeding season is getting a late start this year, so it's hard to be patient!

Hello! It's been a long time since I posted (other than a comment earlier today!)... just wanted to share a couple cool pictures I took of two of our leos! The Jungle Tangerine Tremper is Jazz, the RAPTOR is Lois. They will hopefully be breeding for us in the Spring(ish)!

Well, one of our females laid her second clutch last night/this morning (first was infertile), so hopefully these are fertile! The potential parents are Mimi, who is a normal (any hets unknown) and Jazz, who is a Tremper het eclipse. We're keeping our fingers crossed!

My understanding of "RAPTOR." Please, feel free to correct me or add insight from your experiences! The "RAPTOR" gene is a combination of recessive and polygenic traits, correct? In fact, it seems as though 3 alleles are involved: the tremper/normal locus, the patternless-stripe/normal pattern...
