  • Your henkels seem to be huge, if they are too heavy /fat, this is not good for them. If they are just big it is ok. The eggs were unfertile, if they were the last eggs of the season then it should not be a problem. Cooling /brumation works for me, I keep my leachies at 19-20C from November until end of January and have breeding from February to July or August. I use next boxes and supplement with calcium a lot and UV B exposure for short periods. I mostly use CGD ut f I use insects I dust them with calcium or a multivit. The oocasional defrosted pinies is ok , too. Animals are young and a couple of bad eggs does not mean they will not be good breeders next time. Hope this helps.
