  • that was what i was thinking of because i heard of them eating eggs to be calcium efficient. thanks a lot for the reassurance :D. i know how to get their breeding instincts going by giving a cool winter and then increase the temp at spring. also decrease day night cycle. so next year i am pretty sure that i'll get a good batch. thanks a lot man. if you ever have questions about spiders, i'll be your expert :p
hey, judging by your name, i hope that my instinct to turn to you is right :). i have beautiful P laticaudas and i managed to succesfully breed them so i am not a complete idiot in the hobby :p. my female laid 1 egg before the end of breeding season on a branch, so i moved it to the ground nearer to the heating source to prevent fall danger and provide extra warmth. and now the egg is missing. did my stupid deed trigger a stressful eating response, or am i lucky that their parental instincts made them move it to what they consider secure. and if i was unfortunate that they ate it, i'll know that i should isolate and incubate next time. thanks a lot if you could answer my question
