Hi!
I wanted to upgrade my three leopard gecko tanks from reptile carpet to tile sometime in the future! They are in 20 gallon long tanks. I just have a few questions:
1. What type of tile do you recommend?
2. How do I go about getting the tile cut? I am awful at math and am worried ill get...
Her thermostat is set at 89F as it fluctuates about 3 degrees cooler and warmer. So it will range from 86-92F. I check this temp with a temperature gun.
Theres not much room to have both her hides on the warm end as her warm dry hide is large and long but she loves to curl up on either side...
1. I can increase the temp by a few degrees, it just fluctuates a but much for my liking- i dont want her to accidentally get burned.
2. She gets fed twice a week, two crickets at each feeding. Once a week she gets repticalcium with D3 and the other day she gets zoo-med reptivite without D3...
My female leopard gecko sometimes struggles to poop. She will hold it in for weeks and then when she goes the poop is massive. I have had her for almost 4 years and this issue started around this time last year. I have taken her to the vet twice in this span of time and the only thing that was...
I gave that method a go yesterday. I had her in a warm soak with paper towels over the container to keep her and the humidity in. I let her soak for about 10-15 minutes and then I used the soft bristled toothbrush on her toe. Here is a picture of the same toe after the soak and scrubbing. I...
My 4 year old female leopard gecko, Olive, shed about a month ago and I noticed she pulled out a toe nail, I think, there was no blood and it looked okay. She may have just broken it off. Nevertheless, I changed her substrate to paper towels for the time being and then back to reptile carpet...
https://flukerfarms.com/orange-cube-cricket-diet/ That’s the link to the page. I’ve always gotten it because it’s easily accessible to get at my local petsmart and the bottles last me awhile. Ideally, I was just using them for moisture for the crickets. I try my best to gutload them with veggies...
Thanks! I have a mini "soda can" fridge where I keep my mealworms and cricket food cubes cool. I took its temp and it sits at about 50 degrees F. Would this temp be too cold for the hormworms? Instead of buying a cooler could I keep them in there to slow down their growth? My only concern with...
My 4ish year old leopard gecko, Ren, has developed quite and interesting pooping habit lately. She poops once or twice a month and when she goes it looks normal besides the fact that its HUGE. The brown bit and the urate and massive. I took her to the vet last month because she hadn't pooped in...
My 4 year old leopard gecko, Olive, has been brumating since mid-november. I did not prompt this, she did this on her own. I had to move her tank down one shelf, as she is closer to the floor, her ambient air temp is a degree or two cooler. She still has her warm hide ground temp at 85-90...
For the past month my female leo has been pooping less often. She poops every 7-10 days. She has been eating normally, I feed her 3 times a week as she's a bit chunky. When she poops, there is one urate and two brown pieces. It looks normal besides the fact theres a lot. She didn't use to do...
Today after I fed my maybe 9-10 month old leopard gecko, Theo, I held him and had a look at his belly. I noticed that his belly and the base of his tail was red tinted. I havent noticed this before and I check him over regularly. He is still young so it could be just his morph? He is a murphys...
Hi all!
My 4ish year old leopard gecko has entered brumation for the first time. She began refusing food and acting lethargic for about 1 month ago now. She did one healthy looking poop and I haven't fed her since as she has spent her time sleeping in her cold hide constantly. I was worried...
My 4ish year old female leopard gecko has been avoiding her warm hide for weeks now. It is starting to get colder where I live. Her warm floor temp is always between 85-89 degrees fahrenheit. She has now to begin to refuse food the past two times I've offered it. She has not pooped in 8-12 days...
My 4ish year old female leopard gecko has been avoiding her warm hide for days as far as I've seen. It is starting to get colder where I live as Fall weather has finally arrived. Her warm floor temp is always between 85-89 degrees fahrenheit. She still has an appetite and she is fed every 4ish...
