    Leucistic w/Egg

Wish it was better quality. My leucistic female was on the glass and I snapped a quick picture of her with my phone's camera. Looks like this clutch may only be one egg.

    Eggs from New Pairing

Got my first two eggs today from a new pair I put together about 6 weeks ago. It'll be interesting to see what this pair produces...probably just normal tokays but who knows? Dam: (this photo is the day I got her so she's relatively skinny and was sold to me as a male!) Sire: (hard to know...

    'Xanthic' versus 'Caramel Albino' Picta

My 'xanthic' pictas hatch out with no black whatsoever on them and red eyes (though that's hard to see in the picture). As they grow the eyes darken to a dark ruby and look almost black. I'm assuming everyone else's 'xanthic' pictus hatch out with these same characteristics? These are the...

    Then and Now

Just for fun some pics of my first hatchling from a calico x calico pairing. He's turning out quite nice though no calico patches yet. Then (At Hatching July 09): Now (At 4 Months Nov 09)

    Interesting Egg Situation

My calico female is a very prolific egg layer. In the past she's glued all her eggs to the back of a piece of cork bark. This time though she glued her clutch of 2 eggs directly on top of other eggs rather than to the substrate. It'll be interesting to see what happens to them when the eggs...

    New Eurydactylodes agricolae

Just received my first subadult pair yesterday. After only 24 hrs they seem to be settling in well - active and really chowing down the CGD. Got a really nice photo of the male (although it's through glass) just a few minutes ago:

    Officially Tokayaholic: Morphs

Ok my recent breeding successes with Tokays and my enjoyment of working with them has sent me over the edge. I think I'm now officially an addict. I had an opportunity to pick up some weird, naturally occurring wc Tokay morphs and I just couldn't pass it up. So here's a sampling of what I...

    ID Papua New Guinea Gecko

These photos were taken by me in 2005 in a remote part of Papua New Guinea (PNG). This is a ground dwelling gecko that I have been unable to identify. Last time I shot photos of a lizard (skink) I was unable to identify in books it turned out to be a previously unknown species. Ok, any ideas?
