I got my gecko on timed light think its like 12 on and 12 off. what i was wondering is.. when the light goes off and iam still up watchin tv or doin somthin eles whould the light in the house effect his day/night cycle? if so should i cover his tank with a sheet or somthin? lol

A friend of mine told me that geckos or any other type of reptile couldn't see red light.. is this true? If it is, is it a good idea to use a redlight all the time or just at night?
