Have had a passion for animals since I was old enough to have interests. Grew up on a farm with my own personal zoo, everything from mice to horses and many pocket pets and reptiles. Started working with wildlife at 15 and never looked back, this just reinforced my love of nature, conservation, reptiles, and birds of prey as well as proper animal husbandry in captivity and nutrition. Had to move to the city for college but am hoping to eventually move back out into the mountains and peruse a job in my degree field (environmental protection and climate science). I want to make a difference for the animals and environments that get neglected so they are not forgotten.
