    Default Uroplatus vivarium

Hi, I just wanted to share some pics of my Uroplatus phantasticus 54 gallon corner vivarium. It's full of miniature orchids (5 species have bloomed in the first month of setting it up), has LED lighting (including sunrise/sunset/moonlight and thunderstorm and cloud simulation), a mistking misting system, and internal air circulation (which always pushes new air into the tank). Hope you enjoy!

That is beautiful. A little slice of heaven for a little devil.

Very nice looking but in my opinion its more pleasing to the eye than it's functional for the geckos. There's so much space left for more branches/plants.

Agreed, it looks awesome but it could have been much more functional.

Okay...question. How much negative space should there be versus branches/plants? I'm about to build a new viv for my Gargoyle and this could help. Geckos do jump and leap, right?, so a bit of free space is good, but how much?

I agree, the cage is built for aesthetics, not for use by the gecko.
