Just wanted to share
The hatchlings are great coloration but I took the pictures of them on their darker days except for one(first hatchling pic) of them, wish I'd captured them at their best but here they are:
my favorite one, going to look just like its dad
the father on a darker day...
Whats the difference between related and unrelated?
I have 2.2.4 levis levis. 1 male from GGG 1 female from BGR 1 female is a daughter to the two above and 1 male coming tuesday from wong. Does this mean I can never offer up an unrelated pair without purchasing another unrelated female?
How...
For future reference, I was wondering what can go at the same temps as levis levis, nephrurus. I have the rack system at 82 degrees and cool side is around 75 degrees prolly. And I incubate my eggs at 82 degrees as well.
I was thinking
deleani
asper
lavissimus sp?
and so on
Not

Whats the earliest age you cool your nephrurus levis levis? Would as little as two months be possible? Say, just say, I don't know the facts, but in nature spring/summer time would be where most the breeding begins and fall/winter would be the hatching...Reason I ask, is I don't even use...
Just wanted to share my crew.
My hypo female, no hide, she digs her own
Hypo male, Mr. Producer
Partner in crime lava female, produced 2 clutches so far more on the way. First clutch in march.
this honey goes to Kelly in Michigan if your still out there, email me
What is the earliest age you've bred or could breed the geckos? I have a female at 5 months thinking about breeding her @ 9-10 months I think I have read that thats appropiate. I have also heard 1 year, well I know the longer waiting the better but just thinking and curious on ur inputs.
Captures of my female eating. She drops it first time around and 2nd time is the charm. Will post pictures of almost 4 month old levis eating later not as pic heavy.

My female laid one egg 5/18 and this baby hatched on 8/1. Just thought I'd share pics. Anyone know if its red enough to be a hypo?
Pic of same day hatched
Pic one week later 8/8 after shed
Notice the difference in color, line down the middle makes me think it may be a lava
Anyone have a better success rate doing this? I haven't as I wanted to match up certain genetics, but with my low rate of success with eggs, I'm going to consider trying this. Wouldn't it help to guarantee fertilization?
I'm super stoked, after a year of unsuccessful hatchings, I have finally hatched my very first levis levis baby. Woke up this morning and spotted this dark critter in the incubator. Hopefully just a beginning of more to come.
I thought these were nice setups but the only thing that went wrong was the decorations would add too much weight and the plastic would start to cook. Had a couple good ones, one was my favorite, the manzanita branches as they don't weigh so much. Here they are.
I changed this one very fast as...
1 yr 2 months old
weighs 17g
Was told it was male at my local reptile store. Please let it be female. Can anyone tell me the sex? Sorry about the photo quality
She laid on 10/2 sometime during the day. After she was continuing to dig. She did look skinnier but not as skinny as when she lays her usual clutches. So I searched around and only found one egg. She did eat 4 dusted medium-small crickets that night as well. She has stopped digging around...
Here is my new male acquired 9/4/10 mated same day with my youngest female first time bred.

The heat tape of my rack burned a hole through my plastic tub. Has this ever happened to anyone and what was your solution? Is it possible for it to cause a fire? I would never want this to happen.
Last season I was unsuccessful with about 3 eggs, so I've never born a little cutie yet. Hopefully this season will be better. Here are some pictures and 2 videos.
