I noticed it started on one area on the side but now I noticed it on her back. She got done laying 6 eggs within 2 months. I don't notice it on the male. Can anyone tell me what that is? I don't think it's a burn spot.
I have a better picture of the "male" and the female's picture isn't that great but pretty she's a female anyway. I'm just concerned about the male though. I had 2 vets confirmed that they're 1.1. :/
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I have 2 Phelsuma Grandis. I want to have a naturalistic set up for them but also looking for something that can hold humidity very well. Anyone has any suggestion? Right now I have the ZooMed 18x18x24. I need something bigger and that can...
I kept hear them barking at each other. Seems like they were fighting over a spot. The Male gecko was already inside the 4 inch bamboo stick and the female poked her head there. They started making noises then the male came out and they just went at it. Her skin was flying off in pieces!! I...
My gecko laid several eggs over the course of 6 months but every time she lays the egg, it becomes yellowish and the yolk is dried. She's getting enough nutrients and all of my geckos are about 1yr and 4 months old. Anyone have any ideas?
I was misting my gecko's terrarium and I noticed tiny bugs crawling around. As I took a closer look, they look like baby crickets! I remember I left at least 6-8 adult crickets in the cage while I had to take road trip. I lifted some plants and noticed some small transparent eggs. Should I clean...
Hey guys! It's been awhile since my last post. Anyways I haven't seen my Geckos breeding but I know they are because of the "breeding bite mark" I see on the females. I left my bedroom door open so I can peek to see if they're breeding because it seems they won't breed when I'm there. Not trying...
Hey guys! So I picked up another female Phelsuma Grandi over a week ago. There's no fighting at all between the 3 Phelsuma's and everything seems to be going smooth so far. I am planning to separate them next week but my question is, how do I know all 3 are getting fed properly? I put 2 bottle...
She's the one in the middle. I will not be keeping them together. I'm going to separate them this weekend. They are getting a long just fine. As soon as I put the third female in, her and the male where shaking there heads and flickering there tongue at each other. :)
This is my "male" Phelsuma Grandis. Just about 2 1/2 weeks ago he shed and there was still some left on his back and tale. Then I was on my computer and I hear this scratching noise and I was surprise to see him shed yet again but this time it looks grey and not white. Is this normal? Any help...
