I got him/her (gonna call it a her for now), last Saturday. She was so super duper tiny. I weighed her when I got home and she was 3 grams! She'd been at the pet store for 2 weeks, but as soon as she and her cagemate were placed in their new tank, they got lost in an overlooked hole in a cage...
Got a unpleasant surprise tonight when I found this:
Unpleasant for lots of reasons.
1. She's a baby, 25 grams!
2. I got her from a pet store 3 weeks ago, she was housed with a male blizzard same size as her. Brother maybe?
Well, ok, that's only 2, but they're biggies! Can she survive...
I posted on two other forums (so some of you might be sick of me), but forgot this one :). Anyway, last tuesday I picked up a nice little female bell albino. Her name is Freddie. I was figuring she'd have a few months of unknown gender, so I named her Freddie and declared her a "boy for now"...
I mostly feed dubias and a few mealworms from bowls so occasionally, I like to dump some crickets in for fun. Clementine's tank has paper taped to the back because it has a mirrored back. One of the crickets climbed up the paper and Clem saw it, ran over, jumped on a rock and jumped several...
I've had her just over 2 weeks now and she's growing pretty fast. She doesn't miss any meals! I give her probably 20 roaches daily and she eats them all. Granted, they're baby roaches and some are close to new born, but a good amount of them are decent size.
Sorry for the quality of the...
I don't recall seeing these markings on leos. She's an aberrant hypo tangerine, and the stripes seem to be outlining where her black markings were as a baby.
Editing to add: She is 5 - 6 months old
There's a baby leo at the pet store. They said the supplier sold it as a "High Color Leopard Gecko". Its base color is yellow, appears to be a hypo. I have never heard of a high color leopard gecko, what does this mean?
I am thinking about buying the one at the pet store. I've got his habitat figured out, but still haven't figured out if they need UVB.
Beneficial? Not necessary? Some say they're active in the daytime sometimes, so might benefit from UVB. Other sources say they don't need it.
The tank said crested gecko, but he doesn't look like any crestie I've ever seen.
He looks like a house gecko with spines.

Echo sleeps in her humid hide. All the time. The only time she is not in it is when it is dry, then she sleeps in her regular warm hide.
I assume she has a reason. It's pretty dry here. Spring is the most humid time of the year here and her digital thermometer has been reading 34% humidity...
This is fascinating watching her change so much!
Also, any idea how old she is? I got her at petco 6 weeks ago, she was tiny.
The first photo is when I got her, the subsequent photos are after each shed. The last photo is sometime last week, thursday maybe?
Pretty sure she's a tangerine...
I've looked at so many photos since yesterday. The tangerine babies look most like mine.
I just got her yesterday, she's my first leopard gecko. She's awesome! Already eating and exploring. She even climbed on my hand when I was adjusting her paper towel. She's eaten 2 big mealworms and 3...
