I think this fits in here...

Wasn't a specific forum listing this genus, but I thought since they are somewhat related to knobtails, they can be put in here. Besides, this is my favorite subforum anyway. We saw a bunch of these guys in the Tablelands. Thanks for looking, Justin

A question for all you amyae breeders out there. For those who have gotten multiple clutches from their amyae in a season, what do you feed your amyae? Thanks, Justin

New pics of my striped levis female

I have thinned down the knobtail collection (most were on breeding loan that is at an end), and am focusing on the stiped levis. I have this female, pictured below, and a male that was produced from her. It was once thought that striping was co-dom, but everyone I have talked to hasn't gotten...

    levis levis '05 hatchlings

I thought these pictures turned out nice. These guys hatched earlier this year, and are getting some great reds. They are so active that it is hard to get them to sit still for pictures. Thanks for looking, Justin

    Question on striped levis levis

I have a female striped levis, which laid a few eggs this last season. I am under the assumption that striping is a dominant trait where half of her offspring would be striped, but none of her offspring from this year were striped. Is this correct, or is it a recessive trait? Thanks, Justin

    Levis levis surprise

Well, I was pleasantly surprised this morning when all 4 of my levis levis eggs hatched out. Wasn't sure they would make it, as a couple were molding and had had some temperature fluctuations with our move to a new house. I was ready to chuck them, so I am really glad I didn't. They all look...

    Newcomer with a picture

Hello everyone. I have been lurking for a couple months, and decided to step out of the shadows. I have really been impressed with all the cool knob-tails, diplos, and strophs you have all been posting. I breed levis levis and hope to get amyae and wheeleri in the near future. I am just...
