    Varanid keepers?

Anyone here keeping species in the Varanid genus? I used to keep Acanthurus and absolutely loved them. I would love to get more in the future. I am really interested in V. mertensi. Anyone else keeping Varanids or have any experience?

    Coleonyx on sand?

What are your opinions on keeping NA Coleonyx on sand? I have 1.2 Cvv that I am looking to put into a vivarium, and I am debating sand or paper towels. They have always been on paper towels, and are doing fine, but I am wondering how they would fair on a fine, jurrasic sand. Thanks

    Anolis gorgonae

I finally tracked down a decent picture while doing some herp conservation research, on the IRCF website. I must say that they look even more incredible then I pictured. Their color is only rivaled by L. williamsi. What a beautiful blue. Anyone over the pond keeping this beautiful species?

Open Shell. Intact Membrane, Day 70

dont know how, but i think i cracked the shell a bit during candling, so I decided to open the shell a bit more to see if i broke the membrane, which I didnt, and I can see a fully formed rangei in there. It is alive, and responding to a light tap, so hopefully it will hatch soon. Any advice on...

question on rangei egg currently incubating

what is the black dot visible when candling? this egg was laid back in July, and has been incubated at 50% humidity and approx 30C. Any info on that black dot. Id expect to see more of a gecko from an egg laid over 60 days ago, but rangei are lightly colored and transparent, so its difficult...

    Cricket orders in the winter

ok so for those of you living in the cooler states, how do you get your crix in the winter. I have roaches too, but I still like feeding crix. I dont have any shows from OCT-APR so I usually have to hit up the petstore, which sucks when I use 1000 crix every 2 weeks. Any companies ship crix in...
