Today is my day off, so I thought I would snap a couple of pics. The first is of a winter '06 A. felinus and the second is of a young one that hatched this past weekend. Hope you like 'em.
It's been awhile since I posted, so I thought I would give a little update. The two felinus that I hatched from a wildcaught female are doing very well and growing like weeds. One seems to be growing a bit faster than the other, so I'm curious as to whether the slower one will turn out male...
...but it's way sweeter than any chocolate. Got my first eggs of the season from my female "Meow". When these hatch, they will be my first truly captive bred and born cat geckos and the second clutch overall (she laid one clutch at the end of last season). Looking forward to many more in the...
Well, the Ontario Reptile Expo was last sunday, so I picked up a three more exo-terra tanks to fill the rest of my rack. I also went to walmart yesterday to pick up one more fluorescent light and some pothos plants. So far, only the first three enclosures are occupied (the ones with the...

Went downstairs tonight to spray the geckos and saw Meow out and about, so I grabbed the cam. You could never tell that she is gravid again in this pic...
but in these it is a lot more obvious...
at this point she had had enough of the camera and retreated to her suspended coconut...
For those on the board that have produced felinus, I'm just wondering what the weights of some of your breeding adults are (male/female)? and what time of year is "breeding season" for this species? Any temperature adjustments (ie. brumation temps?) prior to breeding?
Thanks very much for any...
