Hi,
I returned from Hainan recently and wanted to share some habitat shots of G. hainanensis. Awesome to observe them in the wild! This location was about 200 m asl.

Hi,
I wanted to share some pictures of my first 3 angulifer hatchlings of 2010. My female laid 12 eggs in total this season. I wasn't aware that they can lay so many clutches! One of the hatchlings has an interesting pattern again, similar to the "patternless" one I hatched in 2008...

Hi all,
have a look at the first arrival of this season. I just love the small Chondro's :-). Incubation took 77 days at 28 degrees constantly.
So far my female had 4 clutches, the last clutch with only 1 egg, all others with 2 eggs.

Chris

Hi,

Thanks!

Hi guys,
finally I got 2 eggs and managed to dig them out without problems :yahoo:. The female of my 2nd pair is gravid too, so more eggs to come!
I put them in a German cricket box :-). I used the substrate where the eggs were buried in and placed them in the incubator at about 28 degrees...

Hi,
does anyone have some tips for breeding H. maculatus? Right now I keep them a bit cooler at room temperature and will raise the temps again from February on. I keep them dry and I heard it's necessary to simulate a wet season for them to breed?
I would appreciate and information. Thanks...
