How can I get my Leos to eat meelies? I think its because they are not moving, therefore does not grab my leos attention

Hi all, im new and dont yet have any reptiles. although im in the proces of buying a geck, not too sure what to get though, im leaning towards a day or leopard gecko, although the day gecko is starting to put me off as they don't like to be handled, can anyone point me in the right direction...
